VKernel Introduces New Partner Programs for Consultants, Service-Oriented Solutions Providers, and VMware Employees
New programs augment VKernel’s Synergy Plus global channel partner program and enable partners to easily build differentiated services offerings
PORTSMOUTH, N.H., July 30, 2008 – VKernel Corporation, a provider of easy-to-use and quick-to-deploy virtual appliances for managing virtual server environments, today announced the introduction of two new partner programs geared toward helping consultants, service-oriented solutions providers, and VMware employees quickly build unique service engagement with VKernel products to solve critical systems management issues. The VKernel ProConsultant and VMware employee programs significantly enhance VKernel’s continually expanding VKernel Synergy Plus global channel partner program.
Now called Vkernel Synergy Plus, VKernel launched its global channel partner program in April 2008. Since that time, the company has added over 20 new partners and now has more than 35 active partners around the world. VKernel is actively recruiting additional partners to meet the growing demand the company has been generating for its products.
"We are gaining considerable momentum with our channel partner program and it’s translating into mutual, successful relationships that are driving sales of our solutions," said Gene Fay, vice president of sales for VKernel. "The impetus for launching these two new programs is based on how easy it is to build differentiated value-added services around our products."
Earlier this year, VKernel jointly developed a solution acceleration kit with VMware that details how consultants and service-oriented solution providers can build additional profitable services around VKernel solutions for capacity management and chargeback. In rolling out the new VKernel ProConsultant program, VKernel is now offering these partners free use of its virtual appliances (Capacity Bottleneck Analyzer free for 30 days and Chargeback free for 60 days) in order to build service engagement that will help build trusted relationships with their customer base and allow them to build out differentiated high-value solutions.
For VMware employees, VKernel is also offering its Capacity Bottleneck Analyzer and Chargeback products for the same extended evaluation period as the VKernel ProConsultant program. The idea here is that VKernel wants to arm VMware systems engineers and other technical types with tools that not only add immediate value, but can help customers overcome operational readiness issues and push large deals forward. VKernel is a VMware Technical Alliance Partner.
